Common Mistakes to Avoid
1. Incorrectly Entering the Admin Code
Reason: Typos or forgetting the admin code are frequent. The lock will not respond correctly if the code is even slightly wrong.
Solution: Double-check the admin code carefully, ensuring correct capitalization and number entry.
2. Network Connectivity Issues
Reason: The Schlage Connect lock needs a strong Wi-Fi signal to function properly. Poor connectivity can prevent successful programming.
Solution: Move the lock closer to your router, or use a Wi-Fi extender to improve signal strength.
